Coe
Miles’ practice focuses on the technical aspects of patent litigation, patent prosecution, patent program
development and management, technology licensing negotiations. Dr. Miles
combines his past experiences as a practicing engineer and in-house counsel for a
high-technology start-up with his law firm experience to provide
his clients with sound, business-directed, legal counsel. Dr. Miles
represents a range of clients both in terms of size (from startup
organizations to large, multinational corporations) and technologies (from medical devices
to cutting edge computer hardware and software). While at Wong Cabello,
Dr. Miles has worked extensively in the following areas: operating
system design and implementation, large scale database installations
and associated utilities, space-based deployment systems, commercial
food packaging devices and systems, web-site design and evaluation,
patent portfolio evaluation and management, patent and technology
licensing agreements, and intellectual property legal opinions. |
