EXPERTISE
Michael’s practice focuses on all aspects of patent litigation, including pre-filing analyses, with a particular emphasis on proceedings before the International Trade Commission. Michael has experience litigating cases involving diverse technical fields, including cellular telecommunications, wireless data networking, computer software and operating system design, speech and audio coding, and polymer processing and materials design.
Michael’s recent experience has included: second-chairing the defense of an ITC hearing on behalf of a group of Malaysian rubber-processing firms, including conducting the depositions and trial cross of complainant’s technical infringement expert; leading the technical analysis for a multi-patent declaratory judgment action on 4G wireless networking technology; and litigating cell phone hardware and user interface patents before the ITC. |
